Heating up
No one told me that the weather would be pleasant living in rural West Africa, but most of the time you can do things to help alleviate the uncomfortableness. This time of year tends to be the hottest temperatures with winds from the Sahara Desert and temperatures as high as 110’s or even up toContinue reading “Heating up”
Prayer Week #3
As the month of Ramadan continues pray for physical health for those that are fasting. It is hot here in The Gambia and in many Muslim countries. Pray for safety for those fasting, pray especially for some of the pregnant or breast-feeding mothers who are trying to fast. Pray the temperatures would drop and thatContinue reading “Prayer Week #3”
Inventory

I will share more details when things settle down, butContinue reading “God goes before us, prayers needed”
Pray Without Ceasing
As I sit here in the US I am thinking of and praying for my Gambian friends who will begin the Muslim month of fasting in the next few days (depends on the moon). This is a difficult time for Gambian believers, for our team and other Christian workers around the world in Muslim countriesContinue reading “Pray Without Ceasing”
Celebrate
Today has been a beautiful day of celebration on many levels and I am so grateful to be in the US celebrating with my amazing West Cabarrus Church family. A large part of my furlough ministry time is re-connecting with my sending church and God is really blessing me by providing many opportunities to doContinue reading “Celebrate”
