Today, I officially finished all my courses for this semester of my Masters. I shouted for joy and let out a big sigh of relief! I will have a party at my new house tomorrow, but for now, I am “front porch sitting.” When I moved to North Carolina, almost 30 yrs ago, I learned the beauty of a front porch and front porch sitting. I have a relaxing book, a comfortable glider, and cold water (drank my coffee while doing my final early this am). I am listening to the sounds of the neighborhood, birds, construction workers, roosters, and children playing and enjoying the flowers I purchased to brighten up the place.
