Sticky

Rainy season is finally starting to slow down and as much as I am very tired of the daily rains and have been praying for them to stop I conveniently forgot how hot, humid and sticky it is when it does not rain! We have now gone 3 days with no rain and one night with no sleep. It was so hot and humid that my 3 fans and my not so cold shower made no impact. My Carolina friends understand the sticky weather we are in. Honestly it is not much worse than Carolina summers, BUT we do not have air conditioning! So, time to drink more water, go from fan to fan and pray for a little breeze to give some relief. Despite the stickiness I am grateful the rains are slowing, there are many things on my to do list that are waiting for them to stop and the farms need their crops to start drying out a little. Pray for the harvest!
