Practical and Spiritual Lessons

I have 2 more weeks of this semester for my Master of Public Health, Global Health Emphasis degree (still have a year + until the degree is complete). I am tired and counting down to my one month break from school. 8 masters level classes in 5 months with only two days off between semesters, has been a lot!

This semester is the first one where I have had practical, hands on, public health in action assignments and it has been fun. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to work with government public health workers on malaria erradication teams and August 8-10 I will be working with a group in a rural community sharing Farming God’s Way teachings.

Each class, each interaction, each paper, and each work experience are opportunities to learn and share practical truths for better health while incorporating biblical truths and prayer in the name of Jesus. I am grateful for the opportunities the Lord is giving, thank you for continuing to pray.
