After more than 10 years of prayer God has led and given an opportunity for me to go back to school. I am officially enrolled at Liberty University to obtain a Masters in Public Health online. My first course, Introduction to Global Health begins September 15th.
I am nervous, excited and definitely a bit confused by the entire online education process. Since I am now in the “land of good internet” I am taking a full time course load for Semester #1 and then will take one or two courses at a time when I return to The Gambia. The curriculum and degree will help to augment the Community Development work that I am already doing and open doors for more ministry opportunities in the future. I look forward to seeing how the Lord will use this.
Many prayers appreciated for this new adventure as well as my remaining time in the United States and my ongoing recovery.
