Short Term Mission Trips

Prior to moving to The Gambia I had the opportunity to go on many Short Term Mission Trips for a week or two. These trips allowed me to experience the Lord and the world in different and new ways while supporting and encouraging the career missionaries. Since becoming one of those career missionaries 9 years ago, I have been blessed by many of those short term mission trips. Groups have come to help with projects, to do life and encourage our team, to provide communion and biblical teachings, to serve us and much more. Praise God, in January 2026 West Cabarrus Church will be sending a very special team to the Gambia. This special team’s purpose will be to encourage, pray with, support and practically care for me upon my return to The Gambia. I am excited and counting down the days to my return. However, there will be many emotions and challenges once I hit the ground and I am grateful to be bringing some extra Christian family with me for the first week.

Check out this article (I have posted it before, but sharing it again) about why you should consider taking a short term mission trip to encourage career missionaries: https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/mission-trip-churches-should-take/

Informational meeting is this Sunday, September 7th 2025 after each service at West Cabarrus Church Concord, NC. Message me with any questions or interest.
