Another year

If a month ago someone had told me I would be celebrating my 52nd birthday in London with my friend Ruth I would have said you were crazy!

1 month ago my life and plans looked very different than how they look right now. I was excited and looking forward to some great things in our community development ministry in The Gambia.  I was preparing for my teammates furlough in the United States and I did not plan a trip to the US until 2027.

Things changed in an instant as the car went off the road and flying through the air. The driver and I walked out of that car and we continue to heal. God protected us, God has so clearly gone before me during this entire process, He is truly performing miracles and moving mountains.

Today as I celebrate another year to serve Him I am filled with gratitude, praise, joy, hope and excitement. Ruth and I are celebrating with some London tours over the last few days, a fun meal out and beautiful flowers to brighten up our flat.

Thank you all for your prayers, your encouragement and walking alongside of me in this unexpected to me journey. God is good!!

For those in North Carolina I’ll see you soon we land April 23rd
