I knew when moving into Community Development and Community Health Ministry this would involve agriculture in some manner. God has provided us with abundant resources and for wholistic health we must tap into those.
I do NOT have a green thumb, I am NOT a gardener or farmer, I am NOT fit enough to do the physical labor involved. However, the Lord of the Harvest is able to transform individual lives and communities. So, here goes nothing!
This week our Literacy and Community Development staff came together to try out some new income generating skills and projects that we will be presenting to our Adult Literacy classes so they have small business opportunities.
It was a fun time with much laughter, tea and hard work. I am excited to see how the Lord will use these new skills to open more doors to share of His abundant and perfect provision. Pray for our April skills training where we will present these teachings to 5 different villages.
