Several years ago I was challenged to change my perspective on “Prayer Walking” to be one of “Prayer Seeking”. Instead of just praying as I walked, praying AND having my eyes up, my gaze forward, seeking opportunities to pray for people and share biblical truths.
As our visiting team was here we had many opportunities to pray with Believers and non believers. We sought opportunity and the Lord flung open doors. We prayed over new homes, we prayed protection and provision for families and ministries, we prayed for steadfastness for Believers and much more. God hears those prayers in the name of Jesus and there is great power through them. He miraculously preserved the life of one of the men we had prayed over just 36 hrs before he suffered a life threatening accident. Praise God he is alive and healing well.
Praise Him! May we seek Him more and the opportunities for prayer that He provides each day.
