Rainy season is slowing down which means harvest time is here. The millet crop is being cut and dried and is looking great, but the peanut crop still needs more rain.
For the last several days young and old, male and female all pile onto the horsecart and take the journey to the fields to harvest the millet. Although the rains are less, we still have some significant afternoon thunderstorms. The last place you want to be in a thunderstorm is in the middle of a field holding a metal tool! As the sky darkens and the thunder claps the race is on to make it home. After a long day on the farm those horses really fly home! The other day it looked like a horse and buggy race on our road.
Pray for safety and wisdom during the harvest. Pray for the crops. Pray for us as we continue to minister during this time of harvest.
Praying my friend…💜
