This week my teammate and I had the opportunity to meet with some Believers from another African country who have been ministering in nearby areas for several years. As we got to know this family and learned about their work we shared with them that there is no church here in our village. We also shared our diligent commitment to gathering together for teachings, prayer and praise. Our praise may not look or sound like the praise from a large church on a Sunday morning. When we sing in praise it may be off key (me, not my teammate) and simple. Yet, we still gather in our plastic chairs to “Seek the Lord, Not an Experience.” Check out this Blog post from ABWE for more on true praise.
