God’s Intelligent Design

The first big rain has come and everything is already “greening up”. The dry, sandy, dirty soil is damp and all the plants are popping up. The farmers have been busy tilling and planting the peanut seeds. The morning after the first rain as I sat outside to pray and looked around me I was amazed at God’s beautiful, intricate, intelligent design. The Lord had the grass seeds all ready to pop up as soon as that first rain hit and got the ground nice and damp. The Lord had these little red bugs and the ugly flying termites waiting for the dampness and ready to make their entrance. The Lord in His sovereignty and provision had all of this prepared beforehand. A beautiful reminder to the planner in me, that I know the one who does control the future and He has already provided and prepared for what He has next for me.
