ABWE Family

One of the core values of ABWE is cultivating a biblical family atmosphere.  The ABWE family is large and spread throughout the world.  We are all prayerfully working together in over 60 countries to shine the light of Christ.  A few months ago, right before my return to the US I had the opportunity to connect with many from the ABWE family and meet a lot of new people.  It is wonderful to know and pray for people serving the Lord all over the world.  One of the advantages to being a part of such a large and long-standing mission agency is the community that this provides as well as the practical helps and wisdom from years of experience serving around the world.

Last week was busy with a visit from a member of our ABWE family who is a media specialist.  She came to learn about the work that the Lord is doing in The Gambia.  We gave her a whirlwind tour of the ministries and she was able to spend some time in our urban and rural ministry centers.  Our days were spent sharing with her about the work the Lord is doing, talking and praying about where the Lord may be leading us, shuttling her back and forth to the ferry, connecting her with those we work alongside of, answering lots of questions, showing her around, lots of translating and I worked very hard to not commit her to a marriage during her time here (one of our workers was pretty persistent).  Although it was a tiring week, it was an absolute blessing to get to know more of our ABWE family and to share the smiling coast of The Gambia with her.  Thank you for praying for the ABWE family serving around the world and check out the video below to learn more about the ABWE family.
